HI, I’M TAMARA.

My life shapeshifts with the seasons - I teach yoga in the winter and spot fires in the summer. I am a cloud gazer, forest rambler, and a creative at heart.

Years ago, when I was struggling to make a life that made sense to me, I felt disconnected from my self and my joy. Yoga was the thing that always made me feel whole again. I would literally cry tears of relief, upon feeling myself pieced back together.

And of course the journey is ongoing. But even as I explore other modalities (dance, martial arts, massage, weight lifting and high intensity workouts), yoga is the touchstone I keep coming back to, as an ever-so-gentle reset and wringing-out of my body, mind, and nervous system.

When I’m not teaching yoga or spotting fires you might find me lying down in a bed of clover, getting photobombed by my dog.

With [Tamara], I find that yoga stirs my senses. Quite honestly, there is a gratification of my senses during my practice with her and a physical pleasure from it. I’m more attuned to the senses of my body rather than just how my body feels... Yoga with Tamara is sensual. I feel like my body strokes rather than moves and I’m a watercolour paintbrush painting through the beauty of yoga.
