online CLASSES
My Gentle Seated Chair Yoga course can be found on Udemy, an online learning platform. It’s a feel-good program of movement, massage and meditation. If you’re looking for something a little more active that includes standing poses check out Active Chair Yoga for Seniors, also on Udemy. Both these programs are designed for those with injuries, balance issues and/or mobility limitations that make floor poses inaccessible or that benefit from the support of a chair.
GROUP CLASSES
My classes are designed to be a safe and nurturing container for your practice. Every session is an opportunity to be curious, compassionate, and present. I tend to offer exploratory movement and playful sequencing that respects your edges and welcomes your own innate intelligence.
Previous offerings have included vinyasa, restorative, self-myofascial release, chair yoga and yoga bootcamp. In addition to movement, classes might also feature breathwork, meditation, and massage.
private clients
Private sessions are an opportunity to dive deeper into an intentional and customized practice. These can be 1:1 or as a small group. A private with me might do any of the following:
work around any existing issues or injuries
honour your pace and celebrate your wins
provide a comfortable space to ask questions
help you to develop your own independent practice
help you to work toward your practice goals and keep you accountable
balance the effects of other activities in your life (e.g. cycling, golf, gardening, etc)
allow you to enjoy yoga in the comfort and privacy of your own home, studio, or workplace
workplace yoga
Workplace yoga is a valuable asset for busy people. Classes are on site and scheduled to be convenient. Because workplace yoga generally involves smaller groups, it tends to be more customized. The familiarity between coworkers means they are more likely to relax, to bond, and to have fun. And yoga can help people to be more productive, as it increases energy, improves focus, boosts immunity, and relieves aches and pains.
